The MOTIF sound engine is a powerful synthesizer technology for sound creation. The MOTIF sound engine's voices are composed of up to eight Elements. These Elements can be layered for a thick, full-bodied sound, or zoned so that different Elements play on different parts of the keyboard. Elements can also be switched between using velocity for extreme dynamics, or have Elements play randomly, ranging from subtle variation to the most experimental sound.
FM Essential is a completely FREE, 4-operator FM synthesizer app for iOS. The standard version has 10 voices, but connecting your iOS device to an MX88 music synthesizer (using the Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, not included) unlocks all 217 FM voices, ranging from classic '80s sounds to modern, cutting-edge EDM sounds. All voice editing capabilities are also unlocked.
